Announcing a NEW Regular Feature!

Bryan Thomas Schmidt will edit the new feature.
ATTENTION WRITERS!  Our own Bryan Thomas Schmidt has agreed to create a new monthly feature for the KaCSFFS Blog—but he can’t do it without you! If you read this blog, you're eligible to submit information.

He’s looking for announcements about:
·      Something soon to be published
·      Something you just sold to a publication or publisher
·      E-publications of your work
·      Readings you’re scheduled to do
·      Conventions you’re attending
·      Book-signings
·      Other similar events

Appearing somewhere?  Signing books?  Tell us!
Guidelines for Submitting an Item:
·      DEADLINE: 2nd Monday of the month it will be published
·      Submit to bryan@bryanthomasschmidt.net
·      Use the subject line “KaCSFFS Writer News”
·      Include URLs for your website, blog, Facebook page, Twitter feed, Google Plus page, etc., and/or your publisher’s website, or (for author appearances) that of the convention, bookstore or other venue.
·      If you can send a bio photo or cover art, please send as a JPEG (72ppi, no larger than 500 pixels in either direction.
·      Be aware your content may be edited for style or length.

Who is Bryan Thomas Schmidt?
Here’s a little bit about your columnist (from his website’s bio):
Bryan Thomas Schmidt is an author and editor of adult and children’s speculative fiction including the novels The Worker Prince and The Returning, and the children’s books 102 More Hilarious Dinosaur Jokes For Kids (ebook only) and Abraham Lincoln: Dinosaur Hunter- Land Of Legends. His debut novel, The Worker Prince (2011) received Honorable Mention on Barnes & Noble Book Club’s Year’s Best Science Fiction Releases for 2011. His short stories have appeared in magazines, anthologies and online. He edited the anthologies Space Battles: Full Throttle Space Tales #6 (Flying Pen Press, 2012), Beyond The Sun (Fairwood, July 2013), and Raygun Chronicles: Space Opera For a New Age  (Every Day Publishing, November 2013) and is working on Shattered Shields with co-editor Jennifer Brozek (Baen, 2014).
