Advance Notice! KaCSFFS Book Club

The KaCSFFS Book Club just met on Feb. 28--but here is advance notice for the next meeting, so you can find and read the book they're discussing, if you'd like to join in!

At the March 28 meeting (7:00 p.m.), the group will discuss Edward M. Lerner's Small Miracles.  The meeting will be held at Borders Books, at 91st and Metcalf in Overland Park, KS.

New Discounts for KaCSFFS Members!

Prospero's Books (39th St. location)

We already knew we could get discounts at both Prospero's Books locations (1800 W. 39th St., Kansas City, MO and Blue Springs).

But now, KaCSFFS members may also show their membership cards for 10% discounts at Vulcan's Forge and at Aquarius! The two shops share the same building space located on 3936 Broadway, KCMO (in the heart of Westport).

Vulcan's Forge (Sterling Jewelers craftsmen) specializes in jewelry and metalwork. Among their
offerings are a lot of fantasy-oriented rings and pendants and earrings.  A lot of pagan material, too.  (816) 931-6303. 

Aquarius Books (store for Conscious living) is essentially a New Age shop that carries books, incense, tarot cards, and a large, eclectic mix of other items. (816) 031-6303.

Meetings on Febuary 19

KaCSFFS's next meeting will be February 19 at the Writers Place.

• The Board meets at 5:30. 
• Set up for club meeting starts at 6:30.
• Meeting starts at 7:00. Bring chocolate. We'll have a business meeting followed by a fireside chat on what members what to do for the year. The Board will take suggestions from this discussion and set the agenda for the remainder of the year.
