Mitchell Bentley
Artist and regular contributor Mitch Bentley is delighted to announce that his painting, Into the Fires of Heaven, has been included on the final ballot for a Chesley Award, in the Product Illustration Category. It was the cover art for his 2015 Calendar. "I am absolutely stunned and honored to be included," Bentley says.
The Chesley Awards are prestigious annual recognitions for outstanding achievements in science fiction and fantasy art, presented each year (normally at the Worldcon), by ASFA, the international Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists.
Bentley also has finished and delivered the cover art for Piers Anthony and Kenneth Kelly's Amazon Expedient, the sequel to Virtue Inverted, for which he also created the cover art.
Bentley plans to attend Midamericon II, the 74th World Science Fiction Convention in Kansas City, MO, and hopes to see many KaCSFFS friends there.
Wm. Mark Simmons
William Mark Simmons has announced that the second book of the Dreamland Chronicles, When Dreams Collide, has just become available as an Amazon Kindle ebook (cover artist unidentified).
Dreamland Chronicles Book One, In the Net of Dreams, also is currently available from Amazon Kindle.
Book Three, The Woman of his Dreams, is slated for a future release date.
SoonerCon 25 Update
Mel. White has alerted us that she also will attend. SoonerCon 25 is set for June 24-26, 2016, in Midwest City (Oklahoma City metro), OK.

Bryan Thomas Schmidt's latest anthology, Galactic Games, is now widely available via Baen Books, with a Dominic Harman cover. Of the anthology, the publisher says:
